1801 North Beauregard - DC

Working in tandem with Urban Investment Partners (UIP) and Bonstra Haresign Architects, ZDS developed a hospitality-driven amenity experience for a full renovation of an existing vacant office building to a 117-unit apartment building. The design team took inspiration from the adjacent 44-acre Winkler Botanical Preserve to envision a new resident lobby, lounge space, fitness studio, resident corridors, and rooftop terrace. Natural textures, patterns, and motifs informed the interior architecture and design of this serene, park-like oasis in in the West Alexandria neighborhood of Northern Virginia.
