Anawan Mill

Located near the Taunton River and Battleship Cove, the Anawan project converts an industrial mill into 34 apartments and 7 ground floor commercial tenants. The adaptive reuse of the existing building envelope preserves the character of the mill, while introducing moments of bright and modern materials. Anawan street is reactivated with a pedestrian level courtyard and a raised restaurant patio, at the corner of the site, looking towards the cove. The residents experience a blend of existing and new through the use of indoor/outdoor lounges, a large atrium in the core of the building and private balconies.
