Dan Kwasniewski, is a registered Architect and Project Manager, earned his Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from the Roger Williams University. He then continued his pursuit with additional studies at Rhode Island School of Design. He carries over two and a half decades of experience and work in the Architectural field.
Dan has extensive knowledge with Architecture, Historic Preservation, Exhibit Design, and the Interior Design components regarding residential, museum, commercial, educational facilities, and renovation projects. Dan has been involved with the design success of numerous projects throughout the country including the Experience Music Project, Long Beach Aquarium, Museum at 18th & Vine and the Florida Aquarium. He has international work with the design involvement with the success of the Barcelona Aquarium and National Museum of Australia, Canberra. Being a native Rhode Islander Dan has been involved with several local higher education projects including Community College Rhode Island, Bryant University, Salve Regina and the Roger Williams University Admissions Alumni Center. The completed RWU Alumni Center reinforces the architecture of the surrounding new England vernacular buildings with is materiality. The CCRI Newport project is a Shingle Style community college that honors Newport’s heritage. The building features an iconic cylindrical form flanked by linear buildings. An atrium occupies the space between the geometries of the learning environments.
For over a decade and a half Dan has stayed involved in the academic community teaching First and Third Year Design Studio at Roger Williams University. He is currently on the Board of Directors for The Providence Waterfire and is the AIA RI Vice President.
